Recommended by the client’s father, owing to his previous experience working with Neil, Hapticity were commissioned to completely overhaul this property in London. Due to the compact nature of the site, a basement level was fully excavated to provide an extra storey, maximising the space available and ensuring the house could grow with this young family. Structural issues meant the entire rear range had to be re-built, requiring propping the neighbour’s property during the construction works; attention to the historic detailing and re-using the bricks from the original building has created a seamlessly integrated replacement. A punchy interiors scheme developed by Haptic Living reflects the young couple’s taste and creates a truly unique home for them and their children.
